～ストーリー～
互いのパートナーが同乗していた車が事故に遭遇したことで裏切りの事実を知ってしまった男女が、心の傷を癒やし合ううち、いつしか互いに惹かれていく。
ペ・ヨンジュンは、ホ・ジノ監督のアドリブを重視する演出方法に最初かなりとまどいましたが、撮影が終わる頃には、この映画をやり通したことで、新たな俳優人生が開けると信じるとインタビューに答えています。
３つ目「蝉しぐれ」
藤沢周平原作の作品は、山田洋次監督によって「たそがれ清兵衛」(2002)「隠し剣 鬼の爪」(2004)と続きますが、この「蝉しぐれ」は、監督・脚本を務める黒土三男さんが、１５年間に渡り企画を暖めており、やっと念願かなって映画化にこぎつけたという作品です。
主演は市川染五郎と木村佳乃、他に原田美枝子、緒形拳、渡辺えり子、大滝秀治、加藤武らが色を添えています。
ストーリーは、藩内の権力闘争に翻弄される男女の切ない悲恋を描くというもので、不当な汚名に耐え、ようやく家の復権がかなった青年藩士が、かつて淡い初恋を育んだ幼なじみと皮肉な再会を果たし、新たに巻き起こる派閥抗争の渦の中で、藩に仕える武士としての宿命を背負い非情な運命に立ち向かうというものです。
四季折々の美しい映像も盛り込まれているということです。
最後は非常にマイナーな作品ですが、昨今の少年殺人事件を非常に真摯な姿勢で取り上げている「誰がために」にです。
監督は、黒木和雄監督作品で助監督を担当、本作でデビューとなった日向寺太郎です。日向寺太郎監督は、今の日本映画にはいわゆる社会派といわれる作品がなくなったのを嘆いており、自分で製作したというわけです。次回作も社会的な話題を取り上げるつもりでいるそうです。
主演は浅野忠信と「ワンダフルライフ」「美しい夏キリシマ」のエリカ。
ある日突然最愛の人を理不尽な暴力によって失った男が、そのやり場のない怒りと悲しみとどう向き合っていくかを静かな眼差しで見つめた社会派人間ドラマとなっております。
詳しいストーリーは、ひょんな拍子からであったやがて深く愛し合うようになり、やがて女は妊娠する。しかし、２人の幸せは唐突に終わりを告げる。女が見ず知らずの少年に殺されてしまったのだ。怒りと悲しみに押し潰されそうになりながらも、友人の励ましもあってなんとか日常を取り戻そうと懸命な浅野忠信。そんな時、浅野忠信は少年が予想外に軽い刑で出所したことを知ってしまう…。
以上、４作品が僕が注目する１０月の公開映画ですが、やはりというか秋らしいしっとりとした作品が多いように感じました。個人的にはどれを劇場で観て、どれをＤＶＤで観るかは決めていません。
