海外で評価の高い日本の監督と言えば、黒澤明、小津安二郎とともに溝口健二の名前が挙がるが、今年は、溝口健二没後５０年ということで、先月からＮＨＫ衛星第２（ＢＳ２）で溝口健二特集が組まれている。
実は、僕も評判は聞いているが、溝口健二作品は、まだ観ていません。
この機会に、録画して観てみようと思います。
また、ＮＨＫ衛星第２（ＢＳ２）では、チャップリンの特集も先月から行っています。
いずれもレンタルしようにもレンタル店には置いてない作品ばかりではないでしょうか。

ベネチア映画祭で銀獅子賞を受賞した上田秋成の怪奇幻想小説集を基に、戦乱の世に翻弄される人間の欲望と悲劇を描いた世界的評価の高い作品。
