発表から随分、経ちましたが自分の備忘録としても、結果はご存知かも知れませんが皆さんにお伝えしておきます。
第61回カンヌ映画祭の授賞式が5月25日夜(日本時間26日未明)開かれ、コンペティション部門の最高賞パルム・ドールに、仏のローラン・カンテ監督の「ENTRE LES MURS（THE CLASS）」（原題）が選ばれた。
フランス人監督のパルム・ドール獲得は、「戦場のピアニスト」のロマン・ポランスキー監督の受賞以来6年ぶりとなる。
パルム・ドールに次ぐ審査員グランプリは、イタリアのマッテオ・ガローネ監督の「Gomorra」（原題）が受賞。
男優賞は、スティーブン・ソダーバーグ監督作「CHE」（原題）で、25キロ減量しチェ・ゲバラを熱演したベニチオ・デル・トロが受賞した。
日本勢では、黒沢清監督、香川照之と小泉今日子共演による「トウキョウソナタ」が“ある視点”部門で審査員賞を受賞。
また、伊勢谷友介と木村佳乃も出席。二人とも流暢な英語でインタビューに応えたそうだ。

「CHANGELING」主演のアンジェリーナ・ジョリーが、行方不明となった息子を探す母親を熱演し、早くもオスカー候補との呼び声が高い。
